CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

DAVID BROWN

My goal has always been to start with the youth, the kids, the children. When that playing field isn’t level, then we are doing something wrong.

As the CEO of FSET, David is committed to leveraging technology and using it as a tool to solve problems and change the world for the better. With firm beliefs that actions speak louder than words, David has led by example to inspire a company based on honesty, integrity, transparency, trust, and kindness.

When he first started FSET in 1999, David was the company’s sole staff member. Over the next two decades, he went on to build a team that could show, instead of merely tell about the true meaning of innovation. With more than 20 years of experience in law enforcement information technology, one of David’s greatest achievements is founding the Ontario Police Technology and Information Cooperative (OPTIC), a committee that facilitates the provision of state-of-the-art information technology and data management services for more than 40 police agencies across the province. As a trusted industry leader, he has also worked closely to create and curate new IT policy and infrastructure at the national level, enhancing the provision of law enforcement for the entire country.

With the right talent at his side, he leads FSET to push boundaries and explore new possibilities to provide the best solutions for clients in both the public and private sectors. Born and raised in Dryden, Ontario, David now lives in Kenora, Ontario with his wife and two sons, making the most of the outdoors and catching the odd Winnipeg Jets game whenever he can.
