What Our Clients Say
Thank you to you all for everything you have done and continue to do for Pikangikum. It’s clear you are determined to affect and effect change for the First Nations Communities. It’s a pleasure to know you both as a business colleague but foremost as a friend.
Before FSET – our IT downtime, staff supporting technical issues and system reliability was causing frustrations for our firm. FSET provides a solution that is seamless, easy to integrate and secure.
There is a great deal of effort in development of an IT strategy. Not for profit organizations do not always have the time or resources to develop. FSET can help and have the expertise. They take the stress out of it – it’s worth the investment.
Our building was evacuated in 2017, due to a fire. Our remote employees were able to continue working since our information was not stored on-site. Thanks to FSET our employees that worked in our main office were able to continue to serve our clients while working from home, while the building was being renovated.

Our Implementation Manager Katie had the great honour of being invited to participate in the 2023 Indigenous Connectivity Summit in Anchorage Alaska last week.
Presenting alongside Jamie Saunders and Mike McKay from @nishnawbe_askination about their Starlink deployments to connect student homes and educational buildings in NAN communities in response to COVID-19.
After starting with FSET almost 2 years ago, she has spent most of her time helping to connect homes, organizations and entire communities with Starlink high speed internet. To date, she has supported over 4,200 Starlink Kit deployments that have served 109 communities!

Today’s theme for #CanadianInnovationWeek is #innovateforequityeducation. At FSET, we believe in innovation empowering people and we achieve this goal by helping others meet their technology needs.
Over two year’s ago the story of how @spacex #Starlink internet was brought to the community of Pikangikum First Nation was released. For the first time ever, those living in Pikangikum could get a college education from their homes.
Earlier this year, we announced that Phase ll of our Northern Starlink deployment project is well underway. We have partnered with Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN) and begun working together to assist the Ministry of Education in closing the achievement gap between Indigenous students and all students. As of August 1st, 2022, in NAN territory, we have connected over 1,000 homes, schools, and educational resource centres with Starlink internet across 31 different communities, with more units being deployed by the day.
